Do you yearn for another era???

                                                                               I do...

                                                   a time and place where life was simple

                                                    when family sat a table for dinner

                                             and actually spoke without cell phones or texts

                                                   food was fresh and made from scratch

                                                          there was time for romance

                                                                     and gardening...

                                                      I dream of those times

                                                   and places I would like to visit someday

                                   things that were once important and when quality mattered

You cannot control Mother Nature

                                                            God grant me the serenity

                                                     to accept the things I cannot change

                                                                         courage

                                                             to change the things I can

                                                 and the wisdom to know the difference.
