Summer love

How could anyone not love summer?? Sunshine, flowers, warm weather, yard sales, flea markets, flowers eating outside, flowers, flowers, flowers, the beach, barbecues, the sun in your face, the wind in your hair, the smell of fresh cut grass, birds singing and FLOWERS everywhere! I could go on and on, but I am sure you all get it..when you live in Maine where the winters are long and COLD, summer is like you've died and gone to heaven!

Dreaming

I really miss putting together vignettes at the booth in the Hallowell Antique Mall. I think it is time to start dreaming of a new outlet...

A fresh new year...

The end of 2012 was a very hard time.
So hard that I could not even put my thoughts and feelings in writing.
Anyone who knows me would know that when I am not speaking I am writing
I felt emmotionally drained.
In a very short span of time we lost our beloved dog, Maddie



and two of the most wonderful woman I have ever know, my husband's
aunts, Camela and Florence.

Life will be different now, but change is an inevitable part of this life.
We must always evolve, adapt.

A blanket of pure white snow covers us here in Gardiner, Maine.
It fell shortly after Christmas, like white tears. For some reason I found it to be very
comforting. It cleansed the dark grey feeling in my heart and brought a lightness back.
This year white was my favorite Christmas color.
My heart wanted peace and hope...always the heart needs hope.

Run turkeys run...

                                          so innocent and unsuspecting..really Tofurky is not so so bad!!!

Halloween is near

Yes...so exciting!! A time of mystery and excitement. A time for make believe. A time to be what you truly are not...my theme for the Halloween party this year is authors from long ago. Edgar Allen Poe of course tops the list. The weather is going to be great..good food lots of fun & games...and most of all my favorite people! Happy Hauntings!
